You have to make builds specifically to beat these challenges (Cyclone is obviously a must for this one) and possibly even nerf yourself a little bit depending on the challenge at hand (the difficulty of these dungeons is separate from game difficulty). Ten yards is.not much, and I couldn't even do it once because everything was dying so quickly, and my cooldown on Mystic Ally was super long. That was actually a problem, considering one of my sub-objectives was that I had to "unleash" my Mystic Allys on 10 enemies within 10 yards five times. You're used to just trying to murder everything quickly in Diablo 3, but when I did Inna's dungeon, I realized this is a much different kind of challenge.
#DIABLO 3 SET DUNGEONS PATCH#
Set Dungeon Update: Alright here's a great video showing you where all of the set dungeons are, presumably made during the patch test. I’ll probably have a longer write-up on Greyhollow Island and patch 2.4 in the coming days, so stay tuned for that, and play around for yourself. That’s all I’ve managed to deduce in the last hour. Gear now tells you what it’s be transmorgiphied to look like. There’s a new system that shows the duration of active effects like War Cries so those icon aren’t pushed offscreen. Past all that, there are a lot of little quality of life changes. Given that this is Diablo, I’m guessing that perhaps they randomly spawn in the world? I’m going to do a bit of research to figure this out.
#DIABLO 3 SET DUNGEONS HOW TO#
Despite having a number of full sets I want to try out across all my characters, I have no idea where they are or how to find them. One thing I have not experience at all yet are the set dungeons. A little odd, but not entirely unusual for Diablo’s little side-stories. You can explore the entire zone and sort of…run out of events to find, so I think the story will unfold in future instances as you keep playing and different things spawn. I encountered him once and killed him, but the journals informed me he keeps coming back to life. All I’ve gathered so far is that there’s a crazy hermit on the island who performs dark rituals. The island does have a story, but it’s well hidden, told in randomly spawning events and the logs of lost travelers. The zone, to me at least, actually seems smaller than Sescheron, despite claims to the contrary, with two major halves split by a single, precarious bridge in the middle. There are some brand new enemies lurking around as well where the game hasn’t seen anything like them to date. The enemies are almost all nature-based, with nary a humanoid to be found, and you will recognize many of them either from the existing game or the Ruins of Seshceron expansion from a few patches back, albeit with new skins and a few new powers. The area is beautifully made, with crashing waves hitting the sides of the map, and lightning periodically striking dead trees next to you. Greyhollow Island remains something of a mystery to me during my time spend exploring it so far, and I think that’s by design.
