Round guitar bridge for gibson es 125 cracked#
The binding has been scraped in a couple of areas and it has shrunk and cracked in a couple of places, it is still secured to the guitar. There are dents on the side of the guitar on the lower bout treble side as well. There are a couple of significant dings in the headstock as well as the face of the guitar on the lower bout on the treble side. The guitar is missing the original endpin. The Melody Maker was about the coolest guitar I had ever seen. This was about the time I was learning my first few chords on my pawnshop Harmony Patrician. At the time, Billy was playing a 1962 Gibson Melody Maker. The tuner buttons have been replaced but that's it! No headstock breaks, re-frets or neck resets to be found. &0183 &32 Billy ’s band played at many high school dances and did the usual covers of Chuck Berry, Lonnie Mack, and The Ventures. Regarding the ES-125 and the general case of goods built by hand, some work and some dont for me. Chords are nice and fat and single notes sound round and mellow. Old Gibson guitars turn up regularly at shops here in the upper right corner of the USA (New England). The pickup is nice and warm sounding, yet articulate. The neck feels nice and comfortable it fills the palm of the hand nicely without ever feeling too big. Seriously, it's rare to find one of these in this kind of shape, even rarer to find one that plays! Comes with the original Gibson case. This instrument was purchased in the 70's by the previous owner and has been a case queen ever since. This 1948 Gibson ES-125 is in incredible shape given its age.
